New Products for 2006 from Henderson RMD
Henderson RMD has recently extended its leading range of architectural door and window hardware, combining proven technology and new features to create two new systems.
Single Run 120 is the latest addition to the Henderson range of straight sliding architectural systems weighing up to 120kg per panel. Weatherfold Window 20 has been developed specifically for folding window installations. Available now, the first Weatherfold Window 20 system has been designed to suit servery type applications.
Single Run 120
Single Run 120 is the latest addition to the Henderson range of straight sliding architectural products, suitable for use in residential and commercial applications weighing up to 120kg per panel and 3,000mm high.
With its compact design and unique stainless steel construction, Single Run 120 has been designed around the latest industry standards and Codes of Practice.
The high strength aluminium alloy track shares the same profile as the highly acclaimed Single Run 180 and 250 systems, but at only 31mm high is small enough to fit discretely into numerous installations. Within the track, Henderson’s grooved wheel technology and high-speed precision bearings offer almost silent operation and ensure panels are held securely in line.
With this combination of proven technology and new features, no less than 7 dedicated hangers to suit timber, aluminium and MDF systems, and a complete range of flush bolts, Single Run 120 offers a fully flexible solution to meet the demands of modern architectural design.
Weatherfold Window 20
Weatherfold Window 20 is a scaled down version of the ever-popular Weatherfold Coastal range, suitable for timber and aluminium folding window applications up to 20kg per panel.
Designed specifically to suit the smaller stiles of servery-type windows, Henderson’s Weatherfold Window 20 uses the same proven technology as the Weatherfold door systems, but on a smaller scale; high-speed precision bearings, grooved-wheel hangers and 316 cast stainless steel components are all standard features.
At only 31mm high x 41mm wide, the high-strength aluminium alloy track is small enough to be recessed neatly into the head. Hinges have also been sized to suit 30mm thick window sashes. The compact design has been combined with a high strength stainless steel construction to ensure long-term performance.
Tested for durability, Weatherfold Window Servery comfortably exceeded the requirements of the forthcoming Australian Window Association Industry Code of Practice.
To complete the Window system, a complete range of window flush bolts is available, including the 360 flush bolt for timber and the 512 for aluminium, both available in lockable and non-lockable models.
Weatherfold Window 20 Servery
Suitable for timber or aluminium panels up to 1500mm high x 650mm wide, the Weatherfold Window 20 Servery system has been developed specifically to meet the requirements of servery type installations. The new pivot design is mounted directly to the jamb and is fully adjustable for vertical and horizontal alignment. As no sill or channel is required, the work surface is left completely unobstructed from one side to the other.
